UAntwerp Workers for Palestine

We are a growing community of faculty members at the University of Antwerp -including administrative staff, PhDs, postdoctoral researchers, and professors- who unequivocally stand against any and all processes of colonization in and beyond Palestine. We are committed to upholding UAntwerpen’s statement on ethics and integrity, which affirms that “respect for human rights is inherent to the university’s social role.” In doing so, we work to ensure that our university nurture anticolonial aspirations aimed at dismantling hierarchies and borders.
We are part of the broader Palestine Interuniversity Network (PIN), which spans universities across Belgium. We also stand in solidarity with other academic and non-academic collectives at our university, including UAntwerp for Palestine and Antwerp for Palestine.
